Special Events Security

• The Event Security ASPS Program specializes in working a variety of special events. Duties include ticket taking, crowd control, door monitoring, ushering, and working the barricaded areas. Since 1994, ASPS has worked both large and small events at all of the major venues in the Las Vegas area. All types of events have been staffed with ASPS personnel, including concerts, festivals, cultural shows, athletic events, conferences, speakers, campus movies, and graduations.

• ASPS is familiar with casinos and parking. In addition to being certified in both CPR and First Aid, ASPS provides a direct communication link to summon police, fire, or medical aid. ASPS provides the following hospitality, safety, and security special event services:

• Provide guests with directions on where to enter the venue for the special event

• Welcome guests as they arrive at the venue and assist in their registration

• Assist guests with finding their seats and direct them to restrooms, payphones, and concessions

• Monitor closed areas of the venue

• Guard event equipment and vehicles

• Monitor compliance with alcohol and amplified sound policies

• Check backpacks and perform searches at designated events

• Provide disabled transportation for handicapped members of your event to and from the venue

Building Security Program

• ASPS is also available for long-term building and event area security assignments. In such assignments, ASPS provides high-visibility vehicle and foot patrols, secures interior and exterior doors, controsl access, monitors equipment, and conducts area checks for safety or security deficiencies.
